| Victory Pushes Mustangs Record to 19-9 | Billings beat Coronado at Phantoms Field, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Mark Sparling, who earned player of the game honors. The Mustangs, now 19-9, have been red hot.
Alex Rodriguez aided the Billings cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Rodriguez told the Billings Today.
