| Racers Jolt Raiders with Late Rally | The Bowling Green Racers defeated the Reno Raiders, 4-1, in Nick Adenhart League action at Top of the Hill, with Bowling Green pitcher Alejandro Ortega named player of the game. Bowling Green reliever Jim Shelby picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Théophile Richard shouldered the loss. The Raiders fall to 10-14 and continue their uneven start to the 2038 season.
Terry Merritt drew 1 walk. He drove in 2 runs for Bowling Green. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Théophile Richard. It was his 5th walk of the season.
