Benefiting from Tony Martinez's productive game, the Antioch Coal Miners downed the Minneapolis Freeze, 9-3. Martinez went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Coal Miners. The Coal Miners, now 16-8, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Martinez, who is tied for 6th in the DKL in home runs with 6, hit a 2-run double. It propelled the Coal Miners into the lead, 3-1.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Martinez said.
