| Argonauts Topple Raiders with Late Rally | The Astoria Argonauts relied on the hitting of catcher Ryan Biedermann to stop the Reno Raiders, 5-3. For the game, Biedermann was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Justin Gilmore finished the game for Astoria and earned his 5th save. Astoria is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 8th in 22 games.
Biedermann had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 2-2 cutter from Diego Contreras, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Argonauts a 5-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Biedermann.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Biedermann told the Astoria Observer.
