Behind a solid performance from left fielder Kevin Parry, the Billings Mustangs defeated the Candiac Redbirds, 7-6. Parry went 2 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Mustangs. With their winning streak at 4, the Mustangs have raced to a strong start this season.

Jorge Ortega's hit in the top of the 20th was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a slider from Juan Polonia for a run-scoring single. It put Billings in front, 7-6.

"I like the roll we're on," said Billings manager Jorge Magana.
