Victory Over Racers Takes Fort Worth to 17-6
A 5-RBI performance from center fielder Javier Santos, who is tied for 8th in the NAL in stolen bases with 7, led the Fort Worth Cats to a 8-5 win over the Bowling Green Racers. Fort Worth reliever David Dillon was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Jonathan Burton took the loss for Bowling Green. The Racers fall to 9-14 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.

Santos had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Cats went on to win.

"We maximized our offense today," said Fort Worth skipper Jon Hughes. "That makes everyone's life easier."
