| Mustangs Solve Redbirds, 4-2 | The Billings Mustangs got a stellar performance from pitcher John Curnew, who handcuffed the Candiac offense en route to a 4-2 win at Municipal Stadium. The Redbirds fall to 11-12 and continue their uneasy start to the 2038 season.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when right fielder James Bell, who is tied for 10th in the DKL in bases on balls with 11, hit a double. The Mustangs went on to win.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Curnew said.
