| Caterpillars Subdue Pasadena, 5-3 | Getting a good performance from catcher Jack Zapor, the Peoria Caterpillars defeated the Pasadena Bumblebees, 5-3. Zapor was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Caterpillars. Losses have been few and far between for the Bumblebees, who are now 12-5.
Zapor had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Caterpillars went on to win.
