| Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Baristas | The Silver Lake Baristas topped the Coronado Phantoms, 3-2, in Nick Adenhart League action at Ashton Gate. The player of the game was Silver Lake pitcher Tenkou Miura. The Phantoms fall to 7-10 and continue to sputter in the early going.
Silver Lake won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With no outs and Satoshi Yamada on the mound for Coronado, pinch hitter Arturo Ruales hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Baristas fans to their feet.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Ruales told the Silver Lake Times.
