Raiders Lose 10-8 Decision to Redbirds

With left fielder Roberto Ayala leading the charge, the Candiac Redbirds defeated the Reno Raiders, 10-8, at Municipal Stadium. Ayala, who is tied for 2nd in the DKL in total bases with 36, went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The Raiders fall to 5-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2038 season.

Ayala had a key at-bat for Candiac early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and gave Candiac an early 3-0 lead.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ayala.
