| Mustangs Lose to Earthquakes, 7-4 | The San Francisco Earthquakes dealt the Mile High Mustangs a 7-4 loss at Golden Gate Park. Jim Commo was the star on offense. He was 4 for 4 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win was An-te-hai Xin's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Scott Ray took the loss for Mile High. Orlando Garza saved it for San Francisco.
The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from shortstop Alex Bahena. For the game, Bahena went 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave San Francisco a 2-1 lead.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Bahena said after the game.
The Mustangs fall to 6-13 and continue their lackluster start in 2038.
