| Aeropostales Score Late, Stun Cacti, 2-1 | The inspired effort of Albuquerque left fielder Fu-chi Ming was not enough to prevent a 2-1 loss to the Indian Wells Aeropostales. Ming was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Indian Wells reliever Yoon-tae Pack picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Sergio Guerrero was saddled with the loss. The defending champion Aeropostales are off to a horrible start to the season, notching only their 4th win in 13 games.
Earl Seyfried was the walk-off hero for Indian Wells. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Aeropostales pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Seyfried.
