| Baristas Walk Off with Win | The Fairfield Flash got a superb performance from pitcher Esteban Montes. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Silver Lake. The Baristas won the game, 6-5. In spite of the loss, Montes was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball. With the win, Silver Lake improves its record to 4-3.
The Baristas got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Sterling Maroney. For the game, Maroney was 1-1. In the bottom of the tenth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 2nd hit of the season gave Silver Lake a 6-5 lead.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Maroney said after the game.
