| Bumblebees Stun Death Stars, 6-5 | The Detroit Death Stars got a superb performance from pitcher Alex Rivas. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Pasadena. The Bumblebees won the game, 6-5. In spite of the loss, Rivas was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball. Pasadena, at 6-2, is off to a blistering start.
Takahiro Kato was the walk-off hero for Pasadena. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bumblebees pinch hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Kato said after the game.
