| Cats Get Win, Extend Streak to 5 | Benefiting from an exceptional performance from T.J. Oster, the Fort Worth Cats defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 4-2. Oster went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Cats. The save was Maximino Pato's, his 2nd. The Cats, now 5-0, have been on a roll in the early going.
The Cats got a big at-bat from center fielder Javier Santos. For the game, Santos was 1 for 4 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Fort Worth a 3-2 lead.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Oster told reporters after the game.
