| Cacti Get Road Win, 13-6 | Albuquerque and Canton got after it at Mckinley Park.
Getting a good performance from first baseman Jared Howard, the Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Canton Paczkis, 13-6. Howard went 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Cacti. Albuquerque reliever Mario Deleón picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Don Hart shouldered the loss.
Howard had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Cacti went on to win.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Howard told the Albuquerque Citizen.
Albuquerque, now 1-3, is off to a slow start.
