Argonauts Continue Skid Thanks to DeLille, Mustangs

The Billings Mustangs powered past the Astoria Argonauts, 11-7, at Cobb Field. Jonathan DeLille was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 6, to lead the charge. Billings starter Mark Sparling was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The save was António Días's, his 1st.

The Mustangs got a big at-bat from first baseman Dan Hodgson. For the game, Hodgson went 1 for 4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 1st double of the season gave Billings a 7-6 lead.
