The Billings Mustangs got a stellar performance from pitcher John Curnew, who handcuffed the Astoria offense en route to a 6-2 win at Cobb Field. The win leaves Billings with a record of 2-2.

Bryce Rice helped out the Billings cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the third baseman was 1-5. He drove in 2 runs.
