| Villalobos Helps Cats Run Win Streak to 3 | Fort Worth center fielder Alex Villalobos made his presence felt in the 3-2 Cats triumph over the Indian Wells Aeropostales. Villalobos slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Cats, now 3-0, have been on a roll in the early going.
Villalobos had a key at-bat for Fort Worth early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Fort Worth an early 2-0 lead.
"We were in it," said Indian Wells manager Mario Perez. "We just didn't score enough runs."
