The winner was Bernard Coste in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Masamichi Takeda took the loss. The win moves Fairfield to a record of 2-2.
The Flash got a big at-bat from second baseman Gabriel Gómez. For the game, Gómez was 3-6 with 3 singles and 2 walks. In the top of the 16th, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 4th hit of the season gave Fairfield a 5-4 lead.
