| Canadians Subdue Canton, 5-4 | The Canton Paczkis and Vancouver Canadians provided some drama at Stanley Park.
The Vancouver Canadians downed the Canton Paczkis, 5-4, at Stanley Park. Joe Coleman led the way, going 2-for-3 for Vancouver. Cai-fei Men, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.
Coleman contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Vancouver in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-1, Coleman took a fastball from Terry Duncan and stroked the home run to left. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Canadians to leap in front, 4-2.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Coleman said.
The Canadians, now 2-1, have been playing some good baseball.
