Bumblebees Get Close Win Over Redbirds
The Bumblebees had to overcome a fine effort from Candiac pitcher Juan Disla to grab a narrow 3-2 win at The Hole. Disla went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Bumblebees keep rolling, raising their record to 2-0.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Pasadena left fielder Takahiro Kato, facing Neil Vandermark, had a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. It gave the Bumblebees the 3-2 win.

After the game, Pasadena manager Wilfred Brooks applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
