Antioch left fielder Matt Drake was 3 for 6 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6 to earn player of the game honors. Reliever Dennis Montgomery picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. António Medrano took the loss. Sung-your Park nailed down his 1st save.
Nobuatsu Nakashima aided the Antioch cause with a 2-run single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman was 3-4 with 3 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3.
