Bumblebees Get Past Candiac for 5-4 Win

The Pasadena Bumblebees started the 2038 season win an impressive 5-4 win against the Candiac Redbirds at The Hole. Wilson Robles was named player of the game. Pasadena reliever David Benitez was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Juan Polonia took the loss.

J.D. Bruce was the walk-off hero for Pasadena. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bumblebees first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Pasadena manager Wilfred Brooks.
