Midland left fielder William Banks had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 10-8 win over the Kansas City Tornadoes. Amirtharaj Nagaraja was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 30 of 34 save opportunities. The Rockhounds bumped their record to 86-76 with this latest triumph.

Jejomar Butardo's hit in the top of the ninth was a game-changer. With two out, he rapped a cutter from Nate Miller for a 2-run home run. It put Midland in front, 10-8.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Banks.
