| Marauders Walk Off with 7-6 Win | For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
Behind a solid performance from designated hitter Shunso Fukuda, the Maple Marauders defeated the Bloomington Blazers, 7-6. Fukuda hit 2 home runs for the Marauders. Reliever Minoru Aoki picked up the win. His record improves to 10-8. Shichiro Iba took the loss.
Fukuda had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the ninth. On a 1-2 changeup from Shichiro Iba, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Marauders a 7-6 lead. It was the 33rd home run of the year for Fukuda.
"We had the game right there for the taking," said Bloomington manager Román Cruz. "But we decided not to take it."
Bloomington's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
