| Bombers Bridle Earthquakes, 2-1 | The South Carolina Bombers racked up a win at Bomber Ballpark, bumping off the San Francisco Earthquakes, 2-1. Phil Taylor, who started for South Carolina, pitched effectively for his team. With the win, the Bombers improved to 78-83.
Tony Amaya, who leads the TML with a .604 slugging percentage, aided the South Carolina cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman went 1-4 with a double.
"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Taylor said.
