| Texans Get Road Win, 6-5 | Dallas withstood an impressive performance by Seattle designated hitter Fu-chi Ming to defeat the Sasquatch, 6-5, at Sick's Stadium. Ming was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dallas starter Nate Lee was credited with the win after throwing 89 pitches over 7 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Sam Thomas converted his 15th save in 20 tries.
Dallas used the timely hitting of Martín Árias to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Texans on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Árias.
The 4th-place Texans improved to 76-84.
