| Hornets Score Late to Upend Armada, 4-2 | The Hornets grabbed a win, 4-2, at The Nest, overcoming a fine effort from Quebec pitcher Oscar Cruz. Cruz went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Eureka reliever Ezra Bryan was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Christian Wallace took the loss. The 4th-place Hornets improved to 75-85.
Ji-hoon Park was the walk-off hero for Eureka. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hornets first baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Eureka manager Stephen Jackson. "Our pregame was pretty good."
