| Bombers Lose, 2-0, at The Death Star | In a well-pitched game between the Georgia Grays and the South Carolina Bombers, pitcher Juan Lucero was superb. The Georgia right-hander was named the player of the game in Georgia's 2-0 win. The Bombers fall to 6-8 and continue to sputter in the early going.
The Grays got a big at-bat from third baseman Jason Barham. For the game, Barham was 1-3. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 17th hit of the season gave Georgia a 1-0 lead.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Lucero told the Georgia Times.
