Leibbrandt Helps Seattle Outscore Portland
The Seattle Sasquatch stopped the Portland Beavers, 14-11, at Waterfront Park. The Sasquatch got a big game from Rob Leibbrandt, who was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 triples. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Hisataro Sato picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-0. Son Mai was tagged with the loss. Quiang Tu notched his 43rd save in 52 chances.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Omar McKoy to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Sasquatch on top, 8-7. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," McKoy said.

The Sasquatch bumped their record to 98-61 with this latest triumph.
