Multi-HR Game for Calvo in 11-6 Win

Rubber City and Dallas got after it at Metroplex Park.

The Rubber City Rhinos relied on the hitting of second baseman Fernando Calvo to stop the Dallas Texans, 11-6. For the game, Calvo was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Rubber City is now 57-101.

Rubber City took a 11-5 lead on Calvo's 7th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Devon Labonte in the top of the eighth, propelled Rubber City to the win.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Calvo told the Rubber City Herald.
