| Pioneers Lose, 11-5, at Arson Arena | The first-place Bloomington Blazers welcomed Vancouver to Arson Arena.
A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Fernando Franco led the Bloomington Blazers to a 11-5 win over the Vancouver Pioneers. James Jostle, who went 6.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 10. His record now stands at 18-6. Victor Hernandez converted his 11th save in 14 tries.
The Blazers got a big at-bat from left fielder Roger Barrett. For the game, Barrett was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 144th hit of the season gave Bloomington a 2-1 lead.
