The Rhinos grabbed a win, 6-4, at The Rubber Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Seattle pitcher Shuichi Imai. Imai went 8 innings and allowed 6 earned runs. Rubber City reliever Dave Dyke picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Shuichi Imai shouldered the loss. John Knight converted his 13th save in 16 tries.

In the bottom of the 6th, catcher Sabino Acosta gave Rubber City the lead when he hit a 3-run home run. The Rhinos had been trailing 4-2, but the two-out home run off Seattle pitcher Shuichi Imai changed that -- and Rubber City went on to win.

In postgame comments to the Rubber City Herald, Acosta said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."

This win makes it 7 in a row for Rubber City.
