| Tornadoes Lose to Grays, 4-3 | The Georgia Grays did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Kansas City Tornadoes at The Death Star. Nobody did more than pitcher Ricky Arroyo, who captured player of the game honors. Joe Kearns earned his 43rd save in 53 chances. Georgia has a 3-game win streak, while Kansas City has lost 4 in a row.
The Grays got a big at-bat from right fielder Brian Meisner. For the game, Meisner was 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Georgia a 4-3 lead.
