| Toreros Lose, 7-4, at Bomber Ballpark | South Carolina Bombers starter Sal Delgadillo was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 7-4. Charlie Wife got the save, his 7th in 12 chances. The Bombers, at 70-80, have now won 4 straight.
South Carolina designated hitter José Alomar changed the complexion of the game in the bottom of the sixth inning. That's when he belted a 3-run home run off Jose Albertrani. His 16th home run of the season put South Carolina in front, 5-4.
