Rockhounds Come Back Late to Top Toreros

Midland Rockhounds starter Ruben Fernandez was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 4-3. The Rockhounds bumped their record to 77-71 with this latest triumph.

The Rockhounds got a big at-bat from first baseman Elijah Brown. For the game, Brown was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 17th home run of the season gave Midland a 4-2 lead.
