| Grays Slip Past South Carolina, 4-3 | Georgia beat South Carolina on the strength of starter Ricky Bolden Jr.'s fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-3 win. The Grays bumped their record to 91-54 with this latest triumph.
Had German Salazar not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases empty, Salazar hit a solo home run. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Grays.
Bolden Jr. told a Georgia Times reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
