| Samurakami Dazzles in Bloomington Win | Bloomington beat Quebec on the strength of starter Kenko Samurakami's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 4-0 win. Bloomington goes to 80-65. The win puts them 3 games up in their division.
Samurakami, who dominated for Bloomington, earned the victory to move to 13-11. He was in control the whole game, scattering 5 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 5. Quebec batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Samurakami said after the game.
