| Toreros Win at Rubber City, 8-5 | The Cabo San Lucas Toreros bested the Rubber City Rhinos by a score of 8-5, with shortstop Dong-woo Lee getting the main credit. On the day, Lee went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Toreros. Mike Foust notched his 34th save in 38 chances. The Toreros bumped their record to 75-68 with this latest triumph.
Lee had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-0 fastball from John Knight, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Toreros a 8-5 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Lee.
"Enjoyed this one," Lee told the Cabo San Lucas Daily. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
