| Armada Jolt Republic with Late Rally | Starting pitcher Sergio García pitched well enough to help the Quebec Armada beat the So Cal Republic by the score of 6-4. The third-place Republic have dropped 4 straight games.
The Armada got a big at-bat from shortstop Kazumi Inoue. For the game, Inoue went 4 for 5 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the ninth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 109th hit of the season gave Quebec a 6-4 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," García told the Quebec Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
