Georgia Grays starter Stone Carlton was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Seattle Sasquatch, 4-1. In 8 innings, Carlton surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. He allowed 1 run. Joe Kearns converted his 40th save in 49 tries.
The Grays got a big at-bat from designated hitter Antonio Navarrette. For the game, Navarrette was 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 19th home run of the season gave Georgia a 3-0 lead.
