| Texans Slip Past Bloomington, 1-0 | The Bloomington Blazers and Dallas Texans met at Arson Arena to settle a score.
Bloomington got a terrific performance from pitcher James Jostle, but it wasn't enough to beat the Dallas Texans. Dallas won the Arson Arena contest, 1-0. Jostle was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 7 innings of shutout ball. Dallas reliever Bob Campos got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Danny Reliford was tagged with the loss.
The Texans got a big at-bat from third baseman Freddy Ramos. For the game, Ramos was 1 for 5 with a home run. In the top of the 12th, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 33rd home run of the season gave Dallas a 1-0 lead.
"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Héctor Flores, the Dallas manager.
Dallas, at 67-75, occupies 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.
