| Bombers Top Rhinos in Extras | The South Carolina Bombers did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Rubber City Rhinos at Bomber Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Fidel Betancourt, who captured player of the game honors. The Bombers' win now puts them at 63-77.
The Bombers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Sam Ibarra. For the game, Ibarra was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk. In the bottom of the tenth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 70th hit of the season gave South Carolina a 3-2 lead.
"This place was rockin'," Betancourt said.
