| Hops Win at Quebec, 4-2 | San Diego rode a decent outing from starter Landy Lu to victory over the Quebec Armada at Lucky 7 Ballpark. The final score was 4-2. Jimmy Shumaker earned his 18th save in 29 chances. The Hops raised their record to 53-86.
The Hops got a big at-bat from center fielder Jim Roach. For the game, Roach went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave San Diego a 3-1 lead.
