| Titanic Lose, 14-9, at Legends Park | The Belfast Titanic got a superb performance from designated hitter Jeff Mitchell, but the Maple Marauders still won the game, 14-9. Mitchell was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Maple reliever Dave Hamm picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Tim Gary was collared with the loss. Belfast has now lost 4 straight.
Tommy Buford went 1 for 4 with a walk. He scored 2 runs for Maple. The 25-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jim Clemons. It was his 56th walk of the season.
