Hernández Helps Seattle Cruise to 10-1 Win
The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the Brooklyn Black Knights, 10-1, in Roberto Clemente League action at Blue Ivy Stadium, with Seattle second baseman Félix Hernández named player of the game. Seattle reliever Melvin Arambula was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Edgar Alvarez took the loss for Brooklyn. The Sasquatch have an impressive 87-51 record.

Omar McKoy drew 1 walk in 5 plate appearances for Seattle. The 2035 Most Valuable Player Award winner had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Edgar Alvarez. It was his 46th walk of the season.
