| Earthquakes Subdue Eureka, 3-2 | The San Francisco Earthquakes defeated the Eureka Hornets, 3-2, in Thurman Munson League action at Golden Gate Park, with San Francisco pitcher Kyle Larson named player of the game. Larson went 5 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 2-7. Donald Barron converted his 8th save in 10 tries.
The Earthquakes got a big at-bat from first baseman Ze-min Shuo. For the game, Shuo went 1-2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave San Francisco a 2-0 lead.

The 4th-place Earthquakes now have a 5-game winning streak.
