| Armada Edge Pioneers, 4-3 | Fans who came to Lucky 7 Ballpark watched the Quebec Armada and the Vancouver Pioneers fight to the finish.
Quebec center fielder Kevin McCarthy played a vital role in his team's 4-3 triumph over Vancouver. He went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles for Quebec. Christian Wallace picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-7. Nobutoshi Katayama was tagged with the loss.
Roger Washington, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2034, aided the Quebec cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the catcher was 1 for 3.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said McCarthy.
Quebec, now 54-84, holds last place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.
