| Chuang Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Midland in Walk-Off Win | Midland starter Ruben Fernandez pitched effectively against the Maple Marauders at Field of Dreams. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. Midland reliever Amirtharaj Nagaraja picked up the win, upping his record to 4-5. Ruben Luna shouldered the loss. The Rockhounds bumped their record to 71-67 with this latest triumph.
Zhong-shu Chuang was the walk-off hero for Midland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rockhounds third baseman hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"This joint was rocking," said Fernandez.
